What will you be learning?

Accounting staff operate within all types of organisations and you will enjoy this programme if you have an eye for detail and like to solve problems. This is a highly valued professional qualification which might ultimately enable you to progress towards entering the Chartered Institutes.

You will display your competence in recording goods and services supplied and received and in processing receipts and payments. You will also consider how to balance bank transactions, prepare ledger balances and control accounts. You will learn how to code and extract management information and provide comparisons on costs and income. You will work with computer systems and software and learn how to maintain a healthy, safe and productive working environment. You will also look at the ways you plan your time and communicate with others in order to maximise your personal performance.
